The death of Canadian sniper Wali is making the rounds on the internet, notably on Twitter and other social media platforms. It is believed that he died during the bombardment of Yavoriv.

Originally from Canada, Wali landed in Ukraine on March 4 with three other former Canadian soldiers as well as a large contingent of British veterans.


It was said that he had gone from Poland and had been stationed in a renovated home before joining the Ukrainian military and citizen warriors.

In 2015, he is also said to have volunteered to fight alongside Kurdish forces against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

According to speculations, the sniper is capable of killing up to 40 people in a single day. On average, a sharpshooter will score five to six kills per day, depending on the situation.Wali currently holds the record for the longest confirmed kill, which occurred in June of 2017.



An IS fighter in Mosul, Iraq, was taken out with his McMillan Tac-50 rifle at a distance of about 3.5 km away, according to him.According to Ukraine, about 20,000 volunteers from 52 different countries have signed up to serve in the international legion there.

This group of foreign combatants will be able to put on the Ukrainian uniform and ask for nationality.The Geneva Conventions assure that if Russian forces apprehend them, they will be treated in accordance with those conventions.
